Succulents and Caudiciforms

When we lived in San Diego, California Nubia and I grew a lot of succulents and caudiciforms. We have been developing a collection here and learning how to grow them in this climate. Many do very well, a few can’t handle the high rainfall and/or temperature range.

Some of the plants that do best are as follows (to be updated with details):

Aeonium

Euphorbia (Various)

Gasteria

Haworthia

Jatropha podigarica and multifida

Kalenchoe (various species)

Monadenium ritchie

Sedum nussbaumerianum

Sinningia

Stapeliads (Various)
